We're pleased you have come to visit us and hope you will return many times! Our aim for this blog is to provide lots of tips and information about us and what we're doing as well as other crafters. Jan specialises in embroidery, bag making, patchwork/quilting of all genres and artist books. Cath's specialities are doll making (mainly raggedies), paint, cute printable graphics, stitcheries and patchwork.
Our plan is to post on this blog each fortnight so please become a follower "sew" you can know when we have updated the blog. You can expect free patterns, a free BOM, give aways, yummy recipes we have come across, patterns for sale PLUS much more!!! You will be the first to know about our new designs with "sneak peaks" as we're working on them.
We hope you enjoy "the ride" with us and please let us know if we can help you with anything you need to know. Make sure you come back on 27th July for our first official posting!!!
We will have a free raggedy stitchery design from Cath for our end of July posting. See you then!!!
Happy Stitching,
JAN & CATH

ReplyDeleteHi Jan. I am Nadine Thompson. You posted on my blog, Somewhere In Time, today. You have questions about the Aunty Jane quilt and whether there is a pattern. This is what I know for sure. The images I am working with have been sent to me by Gail Chalker of Australia. I met her last year in a class I was teaching in Omaha Nebraska at Baltimore on the Prairie. Subsequently, Gail invited me and four other American quilters to join her and four other Australian quilters to make a quilt using patterns she has traced and sent to us. I understand that the museum housing this quilt gave permission for 10 ten of these quilts to be made. The best advice I have is for you to contact Gail. I believe she lives in Gatton, Old Australia. She also has a quilt shop called Sew Creative. Look her up on the internet. There is a lot there about her. Good luck. I would love to hear from you with whatever luck you have in your quest
